What was destined to be a cleaners store room at the ground level of Lonsdale’s Nibu building is now one of Braddons most reputable coffee houses. A combination of raw inspiration from business owners Natasja & Michael and a keen eye for potential, this 4.2m x 4.2m room was transformed into a highly functional space, boasting a kitchen area, point of service, coffee station & indoor seating. The large hinged window pictured here was custom made by local Canberra artisans as was the hanging shelves for the interior. Large concrete top benches with sturdy steel frames add to the unique characteristic that is KYO COFFEE.
